Original art...Pincus ©

The "babies" and yes, me again in my latest digital pic and graphic image from my wife, Crystal. Had shaved off my beard and just started to grow it again, so the stubble really goes with this beachcomber setting. Crystal has given me a dragon tattoo that I think about having in real life, but the imaginary earring is all her idea.

That big fellow on my shoulder is
Pincus , a Moluccan cockatoo. We think it is "a him," well at least there has been no eggs produced in the 15 years that we have had him. These birds can live to fifty years, so he will be around for sometime we hope. Pincus loves to cuddle and have his neck scratched, especially by his human daddy, he craves a lot of attention and when doesn't get it, gives screams that can be heard from outside the house. The pink shares his room, but not his cage, with two other male birds...a canaries and a cockateel. See that big beak...it can break a broomstick or crack a Brazil nut, but Pincus is a finicky epicurean and turns up that beak at all nuts... but loves those, oh so expensive, fresh apricots.

Original art...Ming ©

Emperor Ming , a Persian mix, is master of all he surveys...in his mind at least and he really is merciless. If his breakfast is not quickly forthcoming he pushes objects off the kitchen counter, we've lost three cups and two glasses this way and have been taught by his highness to keep the counter free of breakable items. Ming is a funny feline, he's not afraid of water and will sit by the kitchen sink watching the running faucet, sometimes dipping a paw in and even has been found reclining in the bathroom sink. He's also fearless when it comes to the vacuum cleaner, he stands his ground and almost lets it touch him, his canine house mates head for the hills when the vacuum comes out. He is no gentleman where Sweetpea, seen below, is concerned sometimes even boxing her in the face. Ming is the latest member of the group and is about a year and half old...we think he may not even be a cat, because if you let him he will even drink out of the toilet...yuck.

Original art...Sweetpea ©

Nestled amongst the flowers, Sweetpea though not a blonde, is a California girl. A six year old, 100lb plus purebred Giant Schnauser from Skansen kennel, she is like her namesake, but can pull out all the stops when she starts to play. Though she is picture pretty, Sweetpea is camera shy and this is a rare photo with her ears almost standing up they way they usually do. She and her human mom are the only females in a house of males, but the two to seven ratio is hardly fair on the macho group. Sweetpea will eat almost anything and can always be found between her mom and pop at the dinner table watching every morsel going into their mouths. Though she lets the little emperor (above) beat her up, she stands up to big Arnold (below) and even snatches bones & toys right out of his mouth. Pea is a very good watchdog, but sometimes it is just too much of a good thing...enough with the barking already, especially when I get up from the chair and walk down the hall.

Original art...Arnold ©

Arnold is 150 pounds of purebred terminator muscle, but he is a momma's boy through & through, he rarely leaves her side and even sleeps by her side of the bed. While Sweetpea dishes out kisses sparingly, Arnold whips out that big soft tongue for most people to enjoy, but don't let that fool you, even if he is a gentle giant, he can be fierce when he has to. Arnold is a good half foot taller and outweighs Sweetpea, but he usually lets her push him around, however he doesn't extend that courtesy to king Ming and the feisty furball only launches sneak rear attacks on him. Arnold is approx. five and a half years old now, he also flew in from Skansen kennel , when he was six months old. His natural pop is from Denmark, but Arnie is no big dumb Danish pastry, he quickly learned to ring the sleigh bells hanging from the back doorknob, when he has to go out.

These images, as with my other "Ages" original art, are just for viewing. Thank you for observing this rule... do have art that I have made especially to share with you... travel the link below.
